Pricing & TermsJudy Chadwick, a former paralegal and banker has been creating elegant, delicious custom wedding and special occasion cakes since 1995. Judy left the corporate world in 1993 to study at the California Culinary Academy, earning a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. She worked for many years at a number of fine Bay Area bakeries before finally fulfilling her dream and starting True Confections. She is passionate about making cakes that are as beautiful as they are delicious, using only the finest and freshest ingredients. She loves creating cakes that are a centerpiece to a wedding or special occasion celebration, making your event beautiful and memorable.
Your marriage should last a lifetime, but the impact of your wedding day should not. At True Confections, we work hard to minimize the effect we have on the planet. We use local, seasonal, organic or sustainable ingredients whenever possible when creating your cake. However, more goes into creating a cake than just the ingredients used to make it. From your initial consultation to the delivery of the cake, we make choices that are better for the environment.
At your consultation, you will be served on reusable plates with cloth napkins and real silverware (all of which are cleaned with environmentally friendly detergents). Your cake will be delivered in a car from a car sharing service (a hybrid vehicle if one is available) to minimize the impact of our delivery vehicle. We make many other choices that benefit the environment by reducing pollutants, conserving water, and saving energy. When you order a cake from True Confections, you can feel good knowing that your wedding cake will help keep our planet green for generations to come.
